Radhika Merchant’s first evening as ‘Mrs Ananat Ambani’ is nothing short of a dream. She wore a unique outfit and emitted the glow of a new bride.

Finally, Radhika Merchant lives her dream as an Ambani bahu, married to her life partner, Anant. The world witnessed their grand wedding on July 12, 2024 red carpeted with celebs from all corners of the globe. They took vows in front of their near and dear ones along with their pets. It was when we came across this one of pictures where Radhika debuted as an ideal wife for couple of minutes.

Instead, Radhika selected a lehenga that was painted by hand for the ‘Shub Aashirwaad’. The lehenga was designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla along with Jayasri Burman who is other artist and sculptor. Zardozi work done on it while using gold has been hand-embroidered into the fabric. Furthermore, she opted for full resham embroidery on her blouse.

In addition, she had adorned herself with beautiful emerald necklace set along with matching earrings followed by maang tikka. Radhika kept her make up minimal using light lip stick and mascara coated lashes. However, her low bun hair style was done with Kamal (lotus) flowers.

In line with the tradition of Ambani ladies, Radhika Merchant went for a stunning lehenga by ace designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Sticking to the Gujarati tradition wherein brides are supposed to wear red and white, Radhika chose Panetar-styled lehenga as well. Her outfit contained ivory zardozi cutwork; it was made up of a trailing ghagra that had a detachable trail.

The gown also had a 5-meter head veil and dupatta. The ensemble is finished off with a fully embroidered red shoulder dupatta that brings out maximal drama in its silhouette. She enhanced her look with another fully embroidered red shoulder dupatta which gave her an on-point look. A large diamond emerald neckpiece, choker, matching earrings and maang teeka were used by Radhika to accentuate her look.

Another highlight in her look was the gorgeous ‘AR’ brooch made in diamonds and sapphire which she pinned on her dupatta. All let us say this jewellery set worn by Radhika belonged to her sister who wore this during her own wedding ceremony.
