Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut recently shared her candid views on the Bollywood celebrities and their social gatherings. Talking to Raj Shamani on his podcast recently, Kangana Ranaut did not mince words. According to Kangana, attending a party in Bollywood is equivalent to an ordeal. She challenged anyone to find a decent person in Bollywood who can discuss topics beyond material possessions. In her words, “A Bollywood party for me is like trauma.” Basically, there is no substance, intellect, or art in such high-profile events. Everything is about dim-witted chatter and superficiality.

The Grasshopper Routine

Kangana details the daily routine of an average star that will leave one in splits but is also somewhat revealing. Stars do not shoot every day; and when they are not doing so, they follow a set pattern of getting up, hitting the gym, sleeping, going to the gym, and then sleeping again or watching TV. She likens them to “grasshoppers”—blank and bereft of engagement with anything worthwhile. Their conversations, she said, revolved around clothes and accessories and other such trite things. For Kangana, relating to such people was out of the question.

Emergency: Kangana's Next Film

As some of Kangana Ranaut’s juicy confessions are being made known, she is preparing herself for her next venture, “Emergency.” In it, the girl not only gets the central role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi but also directs the movie herself.
