Ajay Devgn’s 2006 film Omkara was a box office failure in India but a big success in Pakistan!

Despite critical praise, Omkara earned only ₹41 crores and wasn’t a big hit in India.

Audiences found it too serious, filled with deep Urdu, and lacking Bollywood’s usual entertainment.

The film’s rich Urdu dialogues, intense storytelling, and fewer Bollywood releases made it a hit in Pakistan.

Ajay Devgn as Omkara, Saif Ali Khan as Langda Tyagi, and Kareena Kapoor stole the show with powerful performances.

India preferred fun movies like Lage Raho Munna Bhai, while Pakistan embraced Omkara’s dark, poetic style.

Though a flop in India, Omkara is now a cult classic loved by cinema enthusiasts worldwide
