Prabhu Deva’s Untold Story: Struggles, Success & Shocking Facts

Born on April 3, 1973, in Mysore, Karnataka, Prabhu Deva grew up watching his father, Mugur Sundar, who was a famous dance choreographer. This inspired him to learn dance. 

He trained in Bharatanatyam and mixed it with modern dance styles. His energetic and unique moves made him stand out in the film industry. 

Prabhu Deva started as a choreographer in 1989 with the Tamil film "Vetri Vizha." He has choreographed over 100 films in multiple languages. 

His dance in songs like "Muqabala Muqabala" and "Urvashi Urvashi" became massive hits, making him famous across India. 

In 1994, he became an actor with the film "Indhu." He later starred in hit movies like "Kadhalan" (1994) and "Minsara Kanavu" (1997). 

He became a successful Bollywood director with blockbuster films like "Wanted" (2009), "Rowdy Rathore" (2012) & "R... Rajkumar" (2013)  

He worked with Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Allu Arjun. Apart from dance and direction, he also tried playback singing.
