"Wild Wild Punjab" review: A Riotous Ride Through Punjabi Comedy

“Wild Wild Punjab” is a new comedy film that’s full of fun and braindead adventure. It’s about four friends who travel on a road trip through Punjab, and they’re laughing from beginning to end.

The story is about a man named Khanne played by Varun Sharma who is really sad because his girlfriend interrupted him. He is therefore worried about the prospect of ending his own life. However, he is accompanied by three of his best friends, Arore, Jainu, and Nectar Paaji, to cheer him up. They’ve decided to take a wild road trip across Punjab to make Khanne’s experience better.

They’re trying to get to Pathankot, where Khanne’s ex-girlfriend is about to get married to her Boss. Khanne wanted to make a dramatic statement:’I am over you ‘. ” despite this approach, they run into all sorts of amusing problems. They meet a couple of girls, Radha and Meera, a frustrated police officer, and even get together with several drug dealers

The film does a great job of showing the real life in Punjab. This isn’t the fancy version you’ll find in a lot of movies. Alternatively, it’s natural and wild, with a lot of neighborhood humor. The fictional characters speak and behave as real Punjabis, which gives the film a real feel.

The director, Simarpreet Singh, allowed the actors to remain themselves and did not try to keep them in the back. The current makes the comedy detectable instinctively and without coercion. The film is full of funny situations that keep getting crazier, although it’s all working as long as the actors are so good at making you laugh.

Varun Sharma’s going to be the star performer. He’s a real superior near comedian, and his jokes always hit the spot. He’s even managed to create a passionate experience for you in a couple of scenes. Sunny Singh is entertaining a tough guy who’s out of his usual position, and he’s doing it competently. Jassie Gill plays a different fictional character, but he doesn’t let them go as far as the other people. Manjot Singh, the sensible one among them, balances outside as his Wilder friend.

The duo key female fictional character, played by Patralekhaa and Ishita Raj, does not have enough to do in the story. They’re essentially just helping you to travel the plot with them when necessary. It’s a shame, because it would’ve been nice to see them in bigger roles.

The film has a lot of brain sucking moments that are so funny that you don’t even question their unrealistic nature. For a demonstration, here’s a scene where a fictional character urinated into a toll booth and set it on fire in order to escape the cops. In another segment, a friend threw a wedding party and woke up the next day to discover that one of them, by accident, had joined him!

Unlike a number of movies where a man tries to get back together with his ex-girlfriend, this film does not contain any typical female jokes. It’s just harmless fun that makes you laugh and smile.

The authors, Luv Ranjan, Sandeep Jain, and Harman Wadala, have done a remarkable job in creating funny scenes and dialogue that sounds natural. It feels real among the four main fictional characters, and you can say they have fun together.

If you look tight, you might find some plot holes or something that doesn’t work. However, the film is so entertaining that you probably will not think about it. It’s all about the fun expedition and the hilariously fictitious character.

There’s everything in ‘Wild Wild Punjab ‘: companionship, love, grief, humor, and even some action in the chase of cops. It’s the empathy of a film that you can watch whenever you want to laugh and remember a great era.

In contrast to the usual Punjabi side we see in movies, this film shows a different side of Punjab. It wasn’t all illusion and romantic love in a couple of other movies. Alternatively, it is more realistic and human, which makes it amusing.

Generally speaking, ‘Wild Wild Punjab’ would be a good choice if you like to watch objects that are amusing and entertaining. It doesn’t try to exist somewhere else; it’s just here to make you laugh and enjoy yourself.
